Taiwan's Bicycle Industry Revenue Hits Record High in 2021

Recently, many manufacturers in Taiwan's bicycle industry have successively announced their 2021 revenue results. Among them, the carmakers Huge Group, Merida Group and Aidiya, as well as chain manufacturers Guimeng, parts manufacturers Richi, Leach, etc., will all have revenue in 2021. In particular, the huge group of leading companies in the global bicycle industry, last year's revenue exceeded 80 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 81.8 billion yuan, an annual increase of 17 percent ; although Merida Group's revenue did not exceed 30 billion yuan as expected, it still has 29.344 billion yuan. Yuan, an annual increase of 8.31 percent , and the two major manufacturers have set new record highs in revenue.

Guimeng, a big chain manufacturer, benefited from the hot bicycle market. Last year, its consolidated revenue was 7.76 billion yuan, an annual increase of 26.52 percent , and its revenue hit a record high for three consecutive years.

Looking forward to 2022, both the assembly plant and the parts plant are full of orders, and the operation is expected to continue to increase. However, there are still uncertainties in the supply of components, which may interfere with the growth rate.
